Ennis on Sunday

Really looking forward to a trip to Ennis on Sunday (29/1/2017), all going well. Great double header with Louisburgh (Junior) and Westport (Intermediate )in semi finals. I had the privilege of working as team medic- masseur with both teams for a few years. They were both playing senior back then (not too long ago) and wouldn't it be great to see both teams back in the top flight again? Meanwhile we're proud of the progress this year.

Mind you I had a few visits to the home place of Louisburgh as the Westport 'healer' when championship stakes were high and I can tell you I kept a baseball cap pulled well down over my eyes.Didn't prevent the odd 'nudge' to my ankle as I ran onto the field to attend a Westport player! Great GAA memories.

Anyways we'll all sing from the same hymn sheet on Sunday. Wishing good luck to all.
